All enrolment methods can be found by clicking on Participants in the left navigation, then on the right side, click the gearwheel and click Enrolment methods.
There are three enrollment methods.
- Manual enrolment: Default, you cannot change settings. You manually add teachers or students to the course from the Participants page.
- Self enrolment: You set a enrolment key for the course and students (teachers) can join the course independently using the key. There may be separate ways of self enrolment for students and teachers.
- Guest access: The guest cannot participate in the activities, but can view the materials. The guest can be assigned a key (password) or allowed access without a key, allowing anyone to visit the course.
The eye icon at the end of the line tell you if the enrolment method is enabled (self enrolment / guest access) and you can access the settings from the gearwheel.
